Specific projects for care settings
Adopt a Care Home is an inter-generational project working with three care homes and three nurseries/ schools bringing children and older people together to join in weekly creative workshops.
Sparks and Start Up are two Age Better in Sheffield funded projects designed aimed to reduce social isolation and loneliness in over 50’s in Sheffield.
Sparks delivers a programme of events to engage participants in the events and festivals across the city, as well as working with the arts sector to make events more accessible and relevant for over 50’s. Start Up offers small funding pots for beneficiaries to design and develop new community groups in their local area.
