At 64 Million Artists we believe everyone is creative, and when we use our creativity we can make positive change in our lives and the world around us. We aim to be a catalyst for the creativity of everyone in the UK. We run co-created programmes for all which celebrate accessibility and everyday creativity. Several of our programmes are used in care home settings, and some have been specifically designed for older audiences (our Gateshead Libraries work, Leicester Ageing together work and creative challenge programme for The Age of Creativity festival.)

We run a website for creative inspiration called dothinkshare.com. Here you will find the archive of all of our creative challenges, and sign up to take part in our future programmes.

Specific projects for care settings

Create to Connect is a month of challenges, specifically designed to keep communities connected, curious and creative in uncertain times. The challenges have been set in collaboration with 31 different partners – including schools, libraries, museums, community groups, care homes and more. It is a celebration of some of the brilliant creative work happening around the country and an invitation to do, think and share alongside them.

This pack contains all of the challenges, and ways in which community leaders and care home staff might like to use them with residents and their families. There are 31 quick, fun and accessible creative ideas for you to try.

We ran this programme publicly in May, but there is no time limit or barriers to taking part now. Let’s make everyday creative!
