The big day, Tuesday 24 September 2019, is nearly here but it’s not too late to organise an event in or for a care home. All you have to do is organise any kind of arts activity, large or small and let us know about it.
From the most basic painting session to textiles, dance, drama, ceramics, poetry, music and choirs, help engage and stimulate residents (and staff)!
Show us what you’re doing
There’s two ways we’d love you to keep us informed of what you’re doing.
1. Let us know what you have planned
2. Show us what’s going on, on or after the day
On or after 24 September, please post pictures and stories about your event on social media including the hashtag #artsincarehomes in your Twitter, Facebook and Instagram posts.
If you include the hashtag and send us stories and images, it will help us show the level of support for offering more arts activities in care homes. Arts activities help to enhance the health, happiness and wellbeing of care home residents as well as increasing job satisfaction for staff.
You can also follow us using the social media links at the top of this page.
