Boogie Mites

Find out more about Boogie Mite’s Intergenerational Music initiative : Sharing Music to Boost Well-being and Community Cohesion.

Boogie Mites have conducted an evaluation measuring community cohesion in two care homes and a day centre in Portsmouth. These settings care for older people and have been visited by children aged 10 months – 4 years, either from a Nursery School setting or with parents old on a weekly basis, for Intergenerational music sessions.

Orleans Gallery

The CREATE programme at Orleans Gallery has been designed to engage older adults living in care within Richmond and neighbouring boroughs. The aim of the sessions are to:

Improve quality of life for older people and their carers through delivering high quality creative engagement with the gallery’s collection.

Improve quality of life for older people and their carers in priority wards within the borough, through creative engagement with the gallery’s collection.
